You may want to try vegetarian eating first. You can slowly transition from eating beef, fish, pork and poultry by adding more vegetables, fruits and nuts to your diet and easing off meats.
I wondered if it would be possible to live without meat. Now I am vegan and feel great.

Watch "Food, Inc." You will be amazed at how you have been tricked into eating an unhealthy diet.

Watch The "Best Speech Ever" (life changing).

For 3 months I was a vegetarian back several years ago. Now I am attempting it again. As of June 19, 2017 I have been Vegetarian for 4 and 1/2 years.

Some of my reasons are:

1. Lower blood pressure.

2. Prevent hardening of the arteries.

3. Prevent sickness. Illness from pork. Read about Trichinosis at the Mayo Clinic web site.
Illnesses from meat and some other foods. Pork worm in a woman's brain. See worms coming out of pork when coke is poured on it.

4. Antibiotics and growth hormones in Philippine animals grown for food and in U.S.A.

5. The absolute cruelty perpetrated on the animals. Watch the "milk is cruel" the "Downed Cattleand "Pink Slime" videos. View some of the "Investigations" at Mercy For AnimalsCheck out McCruelty.

Plant based sources of calcium. An interesting point made is that animal protein leaches calcium from your bones but plant based protein does not. More about calcium rich foods. I like to take a Vegetarian multi-vitamin lke "Alive". If you opt for a Vegan lifestyle be sure to get enough B-12 and D vitamins.

Gorillas are vegetarians.
